Hi there! I'm Denise Covington, the quilter behind Covey Quilts. I love all things related to quilting, and am thrilled to share my passion with a covey of like-minded friends.

After years of quilting for family and friends, I finally decided to take the plunge in 2023 to bring Covey Quilts to life. My heart lies in traditional patchwork and scrap quilting, and I get so much satisfaction from mixing fabrics that I've collected during the last two decades. And using scraps is a good reason to buy more fabric, am I right?!

This website marks the beginning of my longarm quilting business too. I can't wait to collaborate with you to finish your projects! There are so many edge-to-edge designs available now, we'll be able to make your quilts unique.

As a B2B marketer in my day job, I've gained insights about niche audiences that have been invaluable in establishing Covey Quilts. My relationships in business has helped me understand the importance of connecting with fellow quilters who share the same passion. That's why I'm so excited to share my journey of building this business from the ground up, and I hope it inspires and assists other quilters in their own pursuits.

Beyond quilting, I am blessed to be married to a wonderful husband who, in addition to his many excellent qualities, is very tall and excels at holding up finished quilts! Together we have two amazing daughters in their 20s who are cheering me on throughout this adventure.
